ABOUT US
Hands for Humanity (H4H), formerly known as Aid for the Needy and Oppressed (ANO), is an independent non-governmental organisation (NGO) founded in May 2013 in the UK. A group of concerned individuals established the organisation due to their compassion for less fortunate individuals and their desire for greater transparency in existing charities. Their goal was to create a charity that effectively helps those in need.
Since 2013 we have saved and transformed the lives of thousands of people By responding to disasters in the UK and worldwide
OUR MISSION
The mission still remains the same which is to deliver help to those who need it the most. That aim still stands 10 years on and from one project in war-torn Syria, expanding in the UK helping the homeless, and also supporting mental health awareness with the help of a fantastic community support network. There have also been various projects launched for the most impoverished communities worldwide.

With the work we do, we want to restore the smile of the most marginalised groups who suffer trauma and life changing events. Relieving their burden and giving them practical long term support to regain their independence.
Our team delivers aid with smiles all around, spreading hope and positivity for the future.

This charity all started with one individual’s drive to do more.
Now, we are a growing organization with the support of our growing team of volunteers, the board trustees, and most importantly, the generosity of the UK public. Our charity couldn’t deliver without your donations, our volunteers, and of course the local communities’ fantastic morale and input.
